Recent Foundation Support

Becky Fisher demonstrates use of the new portable ultrasound machine which is used in diagnostic and surgical procedures. The Foundation provided $20,000 in support for this unit. Of this amount, $5,000 was provided by the Heuermann Foundation and $15,000 from other donors.	The CCH Foundation provided $1,000 towards the purchase of the ECHO Hearing Screening unit used to assess newborn's hearing. An additional $2500 was provide by the Nebraska Early Hearing Detection program.
Annette Kasselman faxes medication orders as part of the ePharmacy system that provides round the clock pharmacy review of patient medications.  In  2011, the CCH Foundation received a $463,000 grant from the Leona M & Harry B Helmsley Trust to support implementation of the system.	An EZ Matt Air Trnasfer bed was puchased by the CCH Foundation from funds raised at the annual Slice For Life Golf Benefit.  The unit provides a safe and comfortable system of patient transfer.  Cost of the system was $2800.00

Funds from the Foundation helped to beautyify the entrance of hospital with new landscaping.
