Bomgaars Donates to CCCH Foundation

On December 2, 2018, Bomgaars held a night of festive fun and holiday shopping just for ladies.  They teamed with Chase County Community Hospital to raise awareness of women’s health issues and passed along a 20% discount for the ladies in attendance.  5% of the total sales from this promotion were pledged back to the CCCH Foundation.  The 2018 total donation from 85 Bomgaars locations was $35,576.44.  Pictured below is CCCH CEO Steve Lewis accepting a check for $384.44 from Janelle Kerchal, Imperial Bomgaars store manager.

According to Mr. Lewis, the donation will go to the foundations cancer fund to help with expenses of cancer treatment the insurance will not pay for and to help pay for preventative treatment.  Those eligible for assistance are Chase County residents and those who get their medical treatment at Chase County Community Hospital and Clinics.  This assistance can help with travel, lodging, meals, medications, or test results.  Mr. Lewis expressed his appreciation to Bomgaars for the gift.

If anyone who has had cancer and continues preventative care every year; those who need assistance for preventative cancer care that is beyond their financial ability to pay; or those who have been diagnosed with cancer may apply for assistance and should stop by the Chase County Hospital Foundation office located at the hospital to apply.
