Justin German grew up in Imperial and graduated from CCS. He is currently a third-year medical student at UNMC on rotation at CCCH and clinics.

Justin German, son of Eric and Brenda German, is a third-year medical student at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).
German will be on rotation at Chase County Community Hospital and Clinics (CCCH) through late March.
He grew up in Imperial and is a 2013 graduate of Chase County Schools (CCS).
“It’s good to be here and to expand my knowledge in familiar settings,” he said.
While attending high school, German said he really enjoyed all the sciences because he felt challenged in a good way by teachers like Larry Munger and Kim Wilson.
“I like something that pushes me, and they pushed me,” he smiled.
He has always had an interest in healthcare.
People don’t always go to the doctor during the best moments of their life, German said.
“I wanted to work in a field where I could affect a positive change in a person’s life,” he added.
Being at CCCH, it’s different seeing patients he knows because it makes medicine more personal to him, German said.
