Chase County Community Hospital & Clinics Announces Shared Care Partnership with North Platte OBGYN
IMPERIAL, NEB – September 18, 2026 — Chase County Community Hospital & Clinics has announced a new Shared Care partnership with North Platte OBGYN, providing eligible expectant mothers with the opportunity to receive a portion of their prenatal care locally while maintaining an established relationship with North Platte OBGYN for ongoing obstetrical care, oversight and delivery.
The Shared Care model is designed to improve access to prenatal care for women in the surrounding region by reducing the need to travel for every routine prenatal appointment.
Through the partnership, eligible patients will have prenatal appointments shared between select local providers at Chase County Clinic and the North Platte OBGYN team. Patients will continue to travel to North Platte for designated appointments throughout their pregnancy and for delivery, while select routine prenatal visits can take place closer to home in Imperial.
Timothy Brininger, MD, a family practice physician at Chase County Clinic, will serve as a local clinical resource for the local providers participating in the Shared Care program. Dr. Brininger brings more than 30 years of medical experience to the partnership, including extensive experience in obstetrical care. Prior to coming to Imperial, he delivered more than 3,000 babies throughout his career. His experience will provide an additional local resource for participating providers as they coordinate prenatal care with the North Platte OBGYN team.
Jodi Spady, PA-C, as one of the select Chase County Clinic providers participating in the coordinated Shared Care, sees the program as a beneficial option for area families, allowing expectant mothers to receive a portion of routine prenatal care close to home while remaining connected to specialized obstetrical care throughout their pregnancy.

The Shared Care program creates a coordinated approach between the patient, select local providers and the North Platte OBGYN team. Care will follow an agreed-upon schedule, with communication between providers helping ensure continuity throughout the patient’s pregnancy.
The program is available to eligible patients based on their individual healthcare needs and pregnancy. Participation in Shared Care will be determined in coordination with the patient’s healthcare providers.
